GameStop has the arceus premium collection with $25 gift card for free essentially making it $75. Good price for a recently released item. I can't make it work on the app but the website works. It would not allow me to use the $5 monthly reward. Free shipping.

Thanks for sharing your reasoning. I wrote essentially getting it for $75. If I'm going to buy something thereafter at regular price I use the gift card as I would cash/cc. It's how I like to reason, it's not wrong and I'm sure lots of ppl think this way. More than one way to skin a cat.

But it's not getting it for $75, you're still paying $100 for the actual item no matter how you spin it.
Yes, I'm aware you're getting a free $25 later, but that isn't making you not pay the $25 upfront.
You're free to think and rationalize however you wish, and getting the $25 GC with this is still wonderful, but you're still paying MSRP for the item itself.

What if people have something they were gonna use the $25 gift card on anyway? It's essentially cash at that point. The only way your belligerent logic makes sense is if you value a $25 gift card from GameStop at $0. I suspect most people buying Pokémon cards have plenty of games they can easily apply the gift card to.
This guy woke up and chose to pick a fight on the internet today lol
