Been debating about this all day, still can't decide as I really was looking for a Kraton deal.
Same price on horizon hobby, Tower hobbies and amain hobbies if you believe in supporting other retailers.

Agreed! I'm having second thoughts. While it's a very good deal, It's not really my style. Probably going to hold out for a Talion or Kraton (EXB). Hoping to get lucky before Christmas. Kind of like the idea of getting a "Roller" that I can build.

Anyone tried the asurion 3 year warranty for $33? Seems ridiculous is it not? Asurion max is $400 and this car is literally at the limit. 3 year coverage seems pretty ridiculous for an RC car that will almost certainly break within that time.

For a full priced one maybe (I've seen people crash a RC plane and warranty it), but this one... you'd probably want to keep it.

Like if the motor craps out 3 years from now, you can warranty return the whole truck and get your $400 back, but then you don't have a truck any more. I don't think they would send out a replacement truck or motor.

wait you're telling me you send it back to get the warranty refund?

That doesn't sound right. I would imagine they just refund you to get out of it?

I think it depends on a case by case basis, but when I looked into it, anything valuable had to be mailed in to their service center for inspection. If they couldnt fix it, only then they would refund.

I think these days they will either send you a new RC asking you to send back or refund on the spot. I was hoping I would get $400 back and fix it myself
