Touch screen is really useful now that Chromebooks can run Android apps. 8GB is very useful for power users.

It depends on one's use case. I've owned several Chromebooks over the years and never missed not having a touchscreen. I have a laptop with a touchscreen...and almost never used the touchscreen feature. For others though, I can see why they would want one.

Always carefully consider your own needs when making purchasing decisions.

Looks decent even the support ends in June 2026. I hate myself keep looking into these low spec machine when I have already M1 chip iPad and Mac.

Although I recently bought and love the 8GB version, I do own a Flip C434 which is a similar machine to this one. It runs fine even with the lower ram. Just run Linux or Android, but not both at the same time. Basic users that are content with vanilla ChromeOS will probably do just fine with this and the laptop is attractive.

I did not like how heavy it is and that it is hard to see the keys at night. Actually going to return it.
