Yes, redeeming this on your existing plan will add 3 years to whatever you have left on your plan. If still can't redeem or add the Stacksocial code to your Windscribe account, go to the page https://windscribe.com/upgrade, scroll down and look for Greenbox with "Have a promo code?". Click on it will ask you for the voucher code, enter the code you received from Stackstocial and click submit then check your profile to see if it added the 3 years. Don't forget the Stacksocial must be redeemed within 30 days of purchase or else it expires and becomes unusable.

Windscribe is much pricier due to lack of affiliate commissions, hence is a much more premium VPN than NordVPN and the like. But this really doesn't matter for some people. If you always need to connect to an area with cheap bandwidth (US, much of EU), you could use the cheapest service you find and still find decent speeds. I connect to specific Asian countries for very specific uses, which means 99% of the VPN services are terrible.
