Irwin makes every "best pliers" list. This is a great price. If it had linesman pliers instead of the slip joint pliers I'd grab it. Still slick.

Aren't those the diagonal pliers?

Hasn't been more than a few pennies lower since 2016, and. has often been nearly 2x this price per ccc.

I just bought the INGCO USA brand for around $21 for similar set (53% off). Not as much as discount percentage wise compare to irwin but cheaper price point.

Based of reviews looks good. 4.6 of 5. Made in China but not the low quality brand.

I generally use pro grade tools. Irwin makes quality tools...not pro level but up there...these are def good tools and great for the price...these will last a lifetime for any homeowner. They are made in China, but these are not your typical junky Chinese one-time use tool. I would compare it to a company like Ryobi.
Not sure why people here can't give just honest and accurate feedback on a product.

I wouldn't go by "list price". If you look at CCC it's never been sold at that price.

I bought a stanley long nose and Slip joint plier two years back and groove on no name brand. Used them multiple times when needed, worked just fine for light jobs. Dont have a diagonal cutter yet. Used angle grinder when I need it once.

Still just diagonal costs 15 bucks on craftsman/husky. Is it still a good buy?

Not sure if stanley is considered as low quality tool.

like the brand, but only 3 of the pliers are actually useful, and at $10 each this is not a SD in my book
