As for THIS deal… oof, not good. Adorama beat this by $240 a month ago. One of the funny things about SD is quoting past deals and someone says, "do you have a time machine?"
This was JUST RECENTLY… way, way less. Personally I'd wait it out. With the RS3 and Pro… the previous gen will repeat a better sale than this… up until they're almost gone. At this sale price you're almost the same difference $-wise to the 3Pro Combo as the difference in price for this exact listing a month ago.
If the site was called "buy it if you need it" I'd save my comment… but I'm a bit surprised to see +6 TU on something that's 50% more $ than it was 4 weeks ago.

Previous gear generations are like stocks… the time machine comments are akin to telling people to "buy the peak" instead of "buy the dip"… if "buy high, since you don't have a time machine" is good advice here… they need to change the site name.
The opening post where it normally says "$10 less than previous front page"… could say, "Only $240 higher than 12 days ago".
I say "buy the dip" not the peak. Considering the price just recently CRUSHED this deal… either get an RS3… or wait.
