Ceramic has a X# of times for use unfortunately.... Works amazing untill it doesn't....

Ceramic has its own (oil) that seeps outta the material to coat the pan every time you heat the pan. Once it's used up you have a sticky situation.

This is absolutely true from personal experience.
Ceramic was very nice at the start then all of sudden become super sticky.

I have had this 1 year. The red paint on the top edges are starting to flake. Also there are sone scratches in the finish. Not sure how it happened but I would say it's time for a new set.

Reading that link above seems to confirm that it really isn't as nonstick as when we first bought it. For the price though I think we got our money's worth.

I bought these and had to return them after a couple of weeks. I purchased them on sale for $70. The non-stick didn't work too well and the bottom of the pan immediately got stained after one use. I then went to Sam's club and bought myself in anodized aluminum pan set for $140 which has been amazing. I would not recommend these at all. Especially if you are a single man that is just learning how to cook, just get yourself something that is much more forgiving.

Your wifey has been asking for decent cookware and you're looking at a cheap $50 set on Slickdeals? You should make it a Christmas present to go along with the vacuum cleaner you got her!

In all seriousness, this is a relatively inexpensive, cheaply made set. As others noted it might be fine for a year, but if you want something "good" I'd look elsewhere.

We bought wine if these a couple of months ago for 80ish. For 50 this is a great set. These are fairly weighty and so not fee flimsy at all. The biggest issues are that the handle for the pot lids get really hot when cooking covered at high heat.
