This is basically what I need for my unRAID server but... ugh. $450. It's a lot. Yes I know the AMD RX 6xxx cards will work but it seems there are more people struggling to get those working than anything nVidia. I guess wait is the answer.
What will you be using a GPU like this on an unraid server for.... mining?
Yeah, I feel the same, it's not a good price for 3070.
Meaning when comparing the "price drop" it isn't quite as steep as some past deals on say the 3080 or 3080Ti. Sure not apples to apples comparison but yeah...
Perhaps I should HODL until end of March 2023?

They still doesn't make 450 a good deal on a 3 year old 3070, brother.
If ur a Nvidia fanboy this is a no brainer a great deal, but if can hold a little more longer, my advice is wait 7000 series' release and buy for a nuch lower price of 6000 series next year.
Terrible deal. Hold the line. This card is over 2 years old now and 40 series is already out. You should be paying this much for the 4070 when released. Please save your money, this is a horrible deal.
But 4060 is at least $100 - $150 more expensive, 4070 is atleast $150-$200 more expensive. The 30's and 40's won't be the same price.

I would. If it was only a year old then I'd say, jump on it. But to pay close to 4070 msrp on a 2.5 year old hardware is silly at this point.

We're waiting to see how AMD's new cards actually perform and it seems like the best estimate is similar to the 3080/4080 so I don't see how that will be much downward pressure on Nvidia, who basically can do whatever they want.
I never thought I'd buy a Zotac, but they've been heavily discounting them lately so I gave them a try. I bought a Zotac Twin Edge 3060 Ti open box from Amazon for $290 last month. It couldn't handle any kind of OC and even with a mild OC it would crash when gaming. I exchanged it for another one (same model) and this one overclocks like a beast! Runs & Benchmarks better than my EVGA 3060 Ti. Silicon lottery may be tougher with Zotac but I've been very happy with the one I'm currently using.

I have had Zotac for years (using RTX 2060 Super, GTX 970 before that) and never had problems, honestly seemed like one of the more solid options out there to be honest. The 2060 Super I have right now overclocks so hard because of the oversized cooler Zotac put on it, it literally runs and benchmarks like an RTX 2070.

The 3070 in this ad is the 2 fan little "micro" gpu-- which tend to run hot.
