Imagine washing a muddy car with a wet rag before pre-rinsing it. Of course you can keep washing the rag or use new ones. Or just take it to a car wash or wait for the next rainstorm. There are many ways to solve a problem. You choose what's best for you 🙂
Agreed.
A wise person once suggested that I consider this: If you walk barefoot in the yard, and accidently get dog poop on your foot, do you wash it or just get some toilet paper and clean your foot off.. why should your undercarriage be treated any differently?

Invest in a whole home softener. So worth it. I got an old school unit someone was tossing that my plumber was replacing. He said the old ones are better than the new ones and should last a lifetime with minimal parts replacing, etc. Ridiculously inexpensive installed... ask your plumber if they'd be willing to do that for you.
Believe me, I've been thinking about it. My water source location is a bit of an eye sour so still debating it. I've reached out to local companies but didn't get anyone interested in putting one in. Kind of lame.
You don't have to sanitize your ass haha. You one of those people who run the wash cloth up in your crack in the shower? Bidet's are the cleanest you are going to get after a poop. It's really an american thing to use paper.
You're just jibber-jabbering at this point, waste of time to continue the discussion with someone who's obviously only trying to justify their silly life decisions

I accept your concession. You have not made one good point as to why you shouldn't use a bidet over smearing poo around with a wad of tissue.
Nope. The burden of proof lies on you since you're the one making the claim that water spreads microbes and is therefore worse than toilet paper. For all we know, your claim source is some conspiracy theory website, so post your source if you want anyone to take you seriously
Never understood this bidet hype, seems nasty to spread microbes around with water......If I get poop on my arm I'm just going to wipe it clean with a rag and not use water and spread it everywhere. Bring me soap, that's a different story.
Research shows bidets are pretty nasty and can spread microbes, the case in point when bidets we're installed at a hospital, patients were cautioned to not use the bidets. In women, research shows it can alter the normal microbiology, because ya know washing that poo residue right into the vagina.
Sounds like you are one of those who don't wash their hands after using the restroom.
My BB1700 is going on 3 years old and is still going strong. I don't trust anyone on here when it comes to cracking because they prob don't read the instructions and what not to clean the toilet seat and lid with. There is a warning sheet on what not to use or the seat might crack. Sound familiar to the complaints?
Was wondering how is the water pressure / strength ? Thanks
The spray hose that is commonly sold everywhere is better than these bidets, point and shoot, just like a gun. Bidets / toilet seat sprayers are more common in Europe I guess. Middle East / India, the spray revolution came in the late 90s. People there shower every day, infact more than once a day due to the hot and humid weather, a lot more than many Americans in colder parts of the country. If you poop many times a day or not always before your bath/shower, consider using a water spray and then pat drying with a TP instead of just wiping with just TP. It's more hygienic and trust me your ass doesn't feel like something's still there or like you just wiped off mustard or ketchup from your face and didn't bother to wash it. The smell / residue obviously lingers. Personally, I dread going out and having to use restrooms because of that sticky feeling, despite going over-board with the toilet paper, a piece of paper can't do justice to your behind, trust me, washing is the best way. I know change is difficult, but its necessary. Just like you read your news off Facebook now and not a newspaper, its more environmentally friendly and its cheaper.

I've had a bio bidet for some years now. I hate pooping without it
For those wondering why this instead of just wiping? You ever get super sweaty and you can feel the squishy in-between your cheeks and you gotta go rewipe? Doesn't happen with a bidet. And yes I wiped thoroughly.
I had the bio bidet slim3 and absolutely love it. Great water pressure, lots of features, no seat cracking after 2 years of use. We're moving and will have elongated seats, ordered another bio bidet through Costco.
Anyone who doesn't understand how water is better than dry toilet paper is just a silly person.

Because these things for sale aren't using soap and if I spray myself with diarrhea I'll wak in the shower at home anywhere else I'll wipe 20 damn times and line my crack with TP till I get home to the shower

I do believe people say that the toto's have more water pressure though but I cannot confirm that nor do I think it's worth the price increase.

We have Brondell or whatever that brand is and level 3 is weak compared to my BB 2000.
Thank you once again.
