    I bought their 4k 60hz cables years ago, and all were duds. bought a certified cable from monoprice and it worked perfectly. Wouldn't trust Amazons hdmi 2.1 cables

    In general, certified cables are better, *but* at short lengths like these, the odds of a cable not meeting spec are quite low. When LTT tested a bunch of different HDMI 2.1 cables, only one 3 ft cables failed. Most of the failures were cables that were 6 ft and up.

    This is very true, and has caused me tons of headaches over every HDMI generation. I always buy the shortest length that fits my needs now.
