This is not a deal for those who wanted to keep the printer.
The deal is all about the ink and it's great for those who are going to print a lot (700 color pages/mo) in the next 9 months. Just get rid of the printer as soon as the trial subscription ends.
0.7 cents per color page is hard to beat even if you have a laser printer.

There are 2 ways:
1. you can register on instant ink with a referral link which will give you 3 months, then you add a printer in that which will give you 9 more months.
2. You can start with the instant ink registration as part of printer setup, during the enrollment it should ask you if you have a referral/special promo code, you can enter a referral code there.
Bonus - You can also get 1 more free month once you are on payment page. If you DM me, I can send you referral code as well 1 additional month code as referrals are not allowed here.
