Pep Boys seemingly annual Black Friday buy 2 get 2 Cooper Adventurer tires is again active this year (must make appointment on 11/24-11/25). Yes, you have pay for the install and can't just pick up the tires.
I got these tires last year for my Ford Fusion and it was a great deal and they are great tires. In and out in less than an hour and no upsell.

That's a pretty good deal. The Goodyear Reliants at Walmart are a little cheaper, but I wonder if the Cooper's are a little better. Technically my tires are good for another 12K and I no longer have a mega commute, so I probably will need tires this time next year. Might be worth the wait.
Tire install for $125 seems a bit pricey for 15" tires. Including install and taxes for 195/65/15 comes out to $475. Decent tires but might be able to get a better price elsewhere unless they change out the tpms sensors and do my alignment but they charge $100 separately for 4 wheel alignment.
They never have the bigger tires in stock and even when they do the extra fees take it over the top compared to Walmart. So far Walmart is usually the one to beat this time of year. Just make sure you find a Walmart with a good auto center. Heard good and bad experiences depending on the location. Also many of them seem short staffed so make sure you can leave the car at the care center for a good portion of the day depending on when you drop it off.
I was shopping tires for daughter's car and found good deal on Michelin at Costco, but they couldn't install tires until end of December. Bought these Cooper tires for $630 out the door, plus they can install this week.
Quick follow up ... Final cost was $550 for the set of 225/60/18. Install was by appointment and took one hour. The Cooper Adventurer is a good looking tire with deep grooves. We will see how it lasts. Thanks again OP.

Glad it worked out for you. Just FYI, while these tires are not directional, they do have an inside and outside (that's marked on the tire). Just make sure they installed them with the outside facing out. They installed one of mine backwards but were apologetic and fixed it right away.
