    Pretty fun ARPG. If you care about story, play the male character first. Playing the female lead basically spoils any questions you would have during his story.

    You can change it. Also don't feel bad about playing on an easier difficulty. The game just makes the bosses hp sponges on harder modes.

    The song "Welcome to Musubi's" is worth the admission price here. Good game with an awesome soundtrack.

    This is presently on game pass. I played for several hours and enjoyed it, but the difficulty started ramping up and lost me. I couldn't quite get combat right and hit a wall with a really tough fight that wiped me several times.

    I don't know if difficulty can be changed during gameplay — I should probably check.

    How far along were you? I'm about 15 hours in and the game is challenging but not dark souls difficult. Just always stock up on healing items from the kiosks that are everywhere

    This is NOT currently available on game pass. It was removed February 2022.

    Edit: whoops my mistake, thought the game is Code Vein! This game IS available currently on game pass.

    I paid way more than this months ago. It's a fun game that looks beautiful and feels like playing an anime. Dialog is horrible though and you'll have to suffer through it during bonding sessions with your team which improves how well you work together in battle. The director mentioned wanting to work on a sequel which would have mire mature themes and I hope that happens along with some tweaks to gameplay. You can change the difficulty at any point. Easily worth $8.
