Since you own these. Would you suggest to remove the first set of panels to bring the price down to $1300+ and register for the free ones? Will the fridge still be operable without the panels? What are you impressions of this model?
Really hesitant to purchase Samsung or LG. I currently have an LG and was repaired twice
I've heard nothing but horror stories from Samsung and LG owners. I'm remodeling my kitchen and need all new appliances and it sucks since they have best price/features. Need to figure them all out this weekend but nothing really stands out!
I am amazed to how many people dont care for door handles. Its really awkward the way you open doors which dont have handles. I have seen someone seriosly injured her finger.
Believe it or not, Samsung actually paid me to stop calling them for repairs. I mean after the dozenth time or so they offered me 50% off the Samsung appliance store or they would pay out a sum equal to the value of my fridge and that would mean I can no longer ask them to repair it...
Just drink that in for a second. Quantify the thousands of dollars we lost in food going bad, natural milk we had to store in coolers full of ice every time, etc. They knew it was beyond repair and it was worth more to pay me off than continue to try and fix a product they manufactured...
I will never buy another Samsung appliance, obviously can't speak for all their electronics, but they way they handled their fridge issues speaks volumes about them as a company.
All the bells and whistles, sure. But do you want to repair it multiple times a year?
The good thing about this one, the ice maker is inside the freezer instead of the fridge where most complaints came from was ice maker issues. I'm hoping this remedy the issue
Indeed. But I've had Samsung fix the ice maker on my model way over the warranty. About 5 years now and they send a local tech without any push back.
Three questions/concerns; let me know if I am reading this wrong:
1) Probably removing the panels from cart will make you ineligible for the credit of upto "$430". And if one's gonna receive the credit why did the OP remove the panels? You WILL need some panel, right?
2) If you have a working refregirator, why haul it away for just $50 credit. You can sell it for more on FB Marketplace. I didn't see Samsung credit and discounts contingent on a trade-in. I am missing something?
3) Is there no water filter included? If not, one may want to add a filter worth $31.35.
Looking forward to see responses from smarter folks here.
DONT NEED TO REMOVE IT FROM CART! you get maxed $430 off now
Added this to my cart and the panels became "free".
Total out the door price for me was just over $1450 with taxes.
Stacked a cash back website plus rebates for my area and after all is said and done it should be around $1200 total.

I was only looking at this post because my old Samsung has this problem, water under the crisper, so i need a new one.
Would like to just fix that issue, as otherwise it works great and has for years.
