Yes. They have been around for a long time. I used to get ram and SSD laptop kits from them for my Macs.
They are not an authorized reseller because they do not operate within Apple's very strict reseller requirements (which is "you break it, turn it into Apple and pay them a repair fee, don't try to fix it yourself"). Specifically, they specialize in hardware that is compatible with Mac products. I'll match your Google search with an equally legit Reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/macsetup...used_macs/

However they are very much a legitimate company and sure this is a legit product also.

I am using it with Windows 10 bootcamp on an iMac. Not sure if that answers your question though.

OWC is a longtime Apple-Mac gear company. Good service when I've used them.

The older version of this keyboard is a tank. I'm still using the one I got with an iMac in 2010-11 at work. All day, 5 days a week. I spilled some OJ in the C key back in 2015 or so. It got sticky. Popped the key off and cleaned it out. Popped the key back on, and it's been all good since. I turn it upside down and tap it on the desk now and then to dump the crumbs. Clean the keys and surface with rubbing alcohol. It's lived through me getting mad and pounding keys several times, haha.

Edit to add: we have a couple of this version of the keyboard as well. I've never seen one go bad in all the years that my co-workers have used them.

Yes, I'm using it on a Win 10 PC. Windows treats it like any other wireless keyboard. Also works with the lightning cable connected to the PC.

They are durable, but they will die if your cat pukes on them. Found out the hard way, as well as that they are basically sealed units, so no way to open them to clean them out.

I did still replace it with the same thing though, just put it away when not in use where the cats can't get to it.

No wires...it's magic to me still.

I love using their wired ones on a PC and Mac so this may be nice way to avoid wires since getting a standup desk.

I bought a Matias backlit keyboard over Apple because of this function. Thought my Matias backlit just died. So yes I agree I wish Apple keyboards were backlit.
Matias quality control is so disappointing. I love the design and the switches feel good but the failure rate is unacceptable.

I wish there were more of a community around high quality scissor key keyboards to do in-depth reviews and motivate companies to build higher quality products. In the meantime, Apple probably makes the most reliable stuff with good keyfeel, but I still think the 09-10 wired versions of this keyboard (and the compact version) feel better. Your best bet on a truly slick price is to find one in a thrift store, but they're more than worth the prevailing eBay prices.

This one does not have a fingerprint scanner, I think thats the newest version. This one has been there for a while now, and I use this and its great.

Isn't this the flimsy and super short keystroke keyboard? Hurt fingers.

You need a 2020 or newer iMac, mini, or studio to make use of a fingerprint scanner. Basically anything with the T2 chip in it. The downside is the T2 chips prevent a lot of repairs and upgrades.
