I would say no.. outlet items are brand new.. the store in LA is a garage sale store which are used items

The clearance rack at the local REI store had the 25% off starting 11/26 sign up on the clearance rack when we went in Wed right before closing. I'm guessing it's both online and in-store.

*edit: the sign indicated price tags ending with $0.73 so I assume these are for actual outlet items, not clearance items.

Warning. Not sure how to report this site niceoutdoorshop dot com as it has the same REI logo with unbelievable too good to be true prices. Not sure how to report it but very likely a fake site. I also found this one which seems to belong to the same fake folks: outletpaddle dot com. So, buyers, be aware, when it seems too good to be true. Don't buy. Lots of scammers out there.

Just reported both sites to https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/, sorry for cluttering this thread.

They also have a light weight cot that usually 200+ that's around 80 with the discounts. I was tempted to get it but I'm still in the car camping phase and don't need it.
