Powerstack is better than regular battery?
It is a small capacity battery that can push out amps similar to a 5AH battery - so the capacity is small but it can drive saws or drills as well as a bigger battery.
Never had one before but I picked up a couple, they seem good for small jobs with a drill or sander and I needed a couple more batteries anyway.
I bought these when they released. They're not good. They don't last long. you'd be better served buying cheaper 2.0 AH batteries.
The 2.0s have no where near the power or holding power a power stack pushes out. I can drive around 100 3" deck screws with a single power stack before it needs to be replaced/charged on a 2.0 maybe 30 if I'm lucky and none of the screws struggle.
$36/AH is NOT a slickdeal. This should be in the $10 TO $12 per AH range to qualify as a slick deal. There are quite a few complaints about these new batteries not lasting very long as well.

You sure that's not just an old battery? 30 deck screws is weak.
Anyway, for what these cost, I'd recommend waiting for a deal on a 5.0 AH. They'll last far longer.

Absolutely, the 2.0s I have are reiterated to flashlight and sound the house light duty. If you think the 2.0s are sufficient I don't believe you use your tools in a manner to appreciate the strengths and limitations of the new power stack line.

They're great for smaller tools. It powers larger tools just fine, just obviously not as long.
But for smaller tools like impacts, 3" cut off saw, smaller recip saw, etc….super nice lightweight and fits into tight spaces more easily.

I guess that expired huh? I don't normally use the app and this didn't trigger my alert until just now
There aren't cheaper 2ah batteries though. At least not legit ones. The deeply discounted ones on Amazon are counterfeit. Learned that the hard way.
