The trick to getting higher amounts of no rush credits is to add fillers to your order. I think the main item needs to be more than $1 or so. It can vary. If you add fillers it will increase the dollar amount for no rush. If order splits then I believe you can earn even more. Was debating posting this. Hopefully I don't regret my decision. You sometimes need to play around w/ the Prime Day delivery dates to trigger no rush too. YMMV for the amount you will earn.
Possible Amazon fulfilled fillers:

Keep in mind that no rush credits do have expirations dates, so don't let them go to waste. Typically you can use them to pay for streaming subs, digital software, digital movies, ebooks, and digital music sold on Amazon.

Yea I had a $3 credit option and a $1 credit option. Former were two items total price >$10. Once I removed one, it fell to $7 and only $1 credit applied. Not sure the actual threshold or product or quantity that dictates the change
Or maybe you ordered a 300# Olympic weight set last Christmas…
Usually the order must contain multiple items shipping from different warehouses or different shipments.
Recently I've seen if it's below $10 there needs to be 3+ items, one of them being above $4-$5.
That said, I think it's all algorithmic and not simple rules so it's hard to pin down
My driver knows my house by heart. Lol
