Without a doubt the best trimmer I've used. It has a lot more power than the Panasonic nose hair trimmer and it cuts much closer.

I own older Panasonic and Conair models. Ended up discontinuing both of them because of their their ineffective and time-consuming nature - opting for scissors. Now I'm considering this model, even though it may end up being archived in my bathroom drawer for years.

It's amazing that no one has produced the perfect model yet. People might pay $50-$100 for one that would be more perfect and long-lasting. Instead, we endlessly keep buying these $10 models that go on sale repeatedly. The photos, capabilities and descriptions always sound so promising for these cheaply-made mass-produced little bathroom toys.

Thanks to the OP for posting this, and thanks for that first hand review. Panasonic is sorta ubiquitous in the nose hair trimmer space. I have two different Panasonic models, and neither one is all that impressive. When I bought them, they sold for around $10 on Amazon (during a price drop), but I've noticed the Pana's almost never seem to go "on sale" anymore.

The above said, I noticed this Conair has an intriguing patented design. Your comment at least suggest that the design is effective (esp since you also owned a Panasonic to compare this with). Reps for you and the OP.

I use a Wahl, but I think they all look the same. Its better to buy a hair trimmer that includes a nose trimmer. If you use scissors use blunt nose scissors so you don't cut yourself.

No not at all, and I like to keep going over the same areas to get as close as I can. Seriously nothing but good things to say about this trimmer.

Just wanted to add, I've had a few Panasonics over the years and their speeds would always fluctuate while using them, even on a new battery. With the Conair, it always runs at a much higher rpm. Also, the head cuts much closer due do the design of it. I have two of these, one for home and one for work. One is a few years old now and still going strong. I think I've only replaced the battery in it once.

Perfect timing, the Panasonic one that I had bit the dust 3 days ago. I had a part of Christmas list but my cringe at what's may show up as a gift.

I bought this a year ago and the battery compartment got all rusted out. Now I'm shopping for a new nose hair trimmer.

You actually don't want to cut too close in your nose hair… your nose hair keeps contaminants out of your body

Thanks OP, repped! Now that I am getting older it is getting harder to tolerate the pain of using a Zippo to take care of nose hair, looking forward to a painless experience!

thanks. took a look at the reviews, they are 1s and 5s. for the 1s maybe a quality control issue, seems like it could die. i hope mine won't.
