I wish I could find a pi4 without paying 3x msrp
I have ordered from digikey (backordered). It takes some time but they eventually arrive. Got a pi4 8GB and a 4GB.
Useless without any pi4 supply...

Makes no sense to use a RPI when they're 3-4x MSRP as there are $150-200 x86 "slim" computers available that absolutely curb stomp what a RPI can do.

Unless you absolutely need the GPIO + more horsepower than an "arduino-class" chip + a full OS.....you'll be spending more money than it's worth. Heck, even at MSRP, it was getting into that territory of "is this actually worth it?" Gone are the days of a $35 mini-computer.

You may know this already but if not....you can run Adguard directly on home assistant.

Not sure about PiVPN (or an alternative).

I use to run pinhole separate but switched.
I have both running. Pihole as a primary DNS server and AdGuard as secondary. I like Pihole more because it block more ads than adguard.

OMG it's my fave Pi youtuber. I absolutely love your videos mate
Heh, thanks! I've been lurking on Slickdeals for many, many years. I think the first time I spotted a Flirc case was from a deal on SD home page a few years ago. Bought one and have bought about 4 more since. When they're not in a rack mount, or on my desk for testing, they're usually installed in the Flirc case.

Looking at my order history:
8GB Ordered 04/16, Shipped 06/03
4GB Ordered 04/11, Shipped 05/03.
Times may be different now.
Placed an order a few days ago, I'll report back when they ship (if ever, lol)

I was unfortunate enough to run into *page could not load* issues with pihole. Didn't find a fix although I did try. No complaints about either from me personally, but I did actually compare them that close either.
