And while obviously not made of gold, it is a pretty high quality construction made of carbon fiber and magnesium. This is definitely more of a business/productivity oriented laptop, so you're trading some specs for mobility and durability.
But yes, for sure the original price is a joke. I can't remember the last time I've seen a Lenovo laptop listed at its actual list price.
Thanks guys. Yah I understand there's a market for premium quality for mobility and durability. Just the pricing game is a little disreputable.
