This is the sale price? I don't think I'd pay over $90 for a good e-reader

Edit: Nevermind, I see that it is for two, A bit of an odd post but a good deal

I checked last night and 16GB was $115. Looks like it's down to $99 this morning? Unless I misread last night. Not sure who needs two Kindles unless you're buying as a gift. I think I'll pull the trigger on the 16GB (just one for me). Thanks OP!

The 8gb was $95 and the 16gb was $100 for a few days now. Kids paperwhites are a bit more expensive you may have been looking at those.

I might just have to trade in my 2018 Paperwhite. $30 gift card, plus 20% off

I think you might be right. I left my 2018 paperwhite in the seatback pocket of an airplane recently, had another trip coming up and needed an e-reader quickly and paid $228 with tax for a 16GB paperwhite at Target. You better believe that is getting returned ASAP.

Looks like a decent deal, but I just can't go without buttons. If I'm reading, I don't want to keep looking at the smudges from swiping to turn pages. Maybe its just me, but no buttons, no buy.

WARNING on this, I ordered this a week ago ago for the "2 items". I received a single Kindle device... The 2nd "item" is very misleading, they later claimed it as the option to remove ads. I did a customer service chat and they insisted that was the case. I complained this was incredibly misleading as no human would consider removal of ads an item with a count, they cared about my concerns as much as a health insurance company.
Ymmv but I wouldn't count on getting 2 with this deal!

I returned to it an got a kobo that I like much better, no messing around with epub conversions, I like the buttons and the extended holding edge, and the non kindle interface was much better better (this coming from a person deep in the amazon world with many of the OR tablets and a million echoed devices).

They do reduce the price total by 20 if you get 2 devices but even with the lower memory and ads the total price is 259.98 plus tax...
