I have an older model of what I think is the same Schwinn that I bought nearly 15 years ago. This looks similar, though more modern of course. I think we paid around $500 when we bought it new (at DSG), so this seems like a great deal. While it's not quite commercial gym quality, it's one of the best gym purchases we've made. It's seen a ton of use over the years and still gets used a few times a week. It works as well as the day we bought it and has needed zero maintenance.

Have this, bought it used(barely). Decent quality given the price. Nothing extravagant app or technology wise. Works well for its purpose.

Update: originally got a "not available for delivery within 50 miles" message. I changed to another local store and was able to order for delivery. Not sure what happened, maybe a glitch.


Do you know if the carrier will bring inside house?

I have owned 2 versions of this over the past 15+ years and have been very pleased. They have been the best recumbent exercise bikes I could find that didn't cost $1000+. Definitely not professional gym quality with all the bells and whistles, but most of us can't or won't pay the premium for that level of exercise equipment to have at home.

It provides a fantastic workout IMO without the wear and tear on your joints, or the discomfort of using an upright exercise bike. I ride a high end road bike outdoors for fun and fitness when weather permits, but my go-to weight loss equipment at other times is this Schwinn recumbent bike.

Seat is comfortable with good padding. Much more comfortable than the versions at the gym. And I've never had the seat material rip despite getting a LOT of use by some big bodies.

P.S. I have never found these for under $500, so the price is great. Any thoughts on how to get it even lower, perhaps through gift cards or cashback sites?

Yes, I bought one 5 years ago. The plastic seat back broke. I just bought it again. Very sturdy, other than the plastic seat

Thanks! I cancelled BB order and went through Amazon with Discover 5% cb. For extra $10 Amazon allowed me to select in-house delivery as well as a 3-hour window.
