They must have caught on because now its saying the machines are ineligible for coupons. :/
It said that too earlier this morning. But signing up for the yearly membership, the 30% off coupon did appear. In my case, I purchased it online but picked it up in store around noon before they had a chance to cancel the order.
Very amazing deal imho, if you were able to get it. $680 sale price - $204 BBY discount + $29 membership fee.

No, they have since fixed whatever loophole was allowing the coupon to go through earlier. Definitely not working now.
I saw this deal at 6pm est and ordered it. 30 min later got a msg that it was ready. Drove there and picked it up. $475ish before tax. Also bbb gave me additional $100 credit to use. So $375ish.
This might be comparing toys to professional tools, but how would this compare to something I just bought like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...prod_image. Recent slick deal for $140. I'm not trying to make professional barista coffee (yet). I'm not even sure if want to commit that kind of time either. All I've ever drank is drip coffee and aeropress coffee that I freshly grind at club warehouse stores when I buy. Maybe this is sacrilegious to the people buying this type of machine lol.
Thanks OP!!! Finally ordered one as I have been eyeing this one to retire my plastic drip coffee machine!!!
Whoa, retire it? Why? With this semi-automatic Breville, you can pull a longer espresso shot at lower pressure (lungo) or add hot water to your shot (americano) for a taller drink, but for avid coffee drinkers, this will not replace their drip machine. Two appliances with two different purposes.
Really good deal for those waiting on an espresso maker. Purchased this recently and love this machine. Dialing in takes some getting used to but everything you need to learn is on youtube. Recommend getting a dosing funnel to prevent spillage.
Thanks for the tip on the funnel! My Express has been running strong for years but I've been wondering how to deal with the spillage when grinding. Had no idea this existed. Just bought the $9 aluminum one on Amazon. Thanks!
You can. In fact, I setlled on the Bambino + separate grinder over the Pro a while back, based solely on the fact that I confirmed that you can buy a non-pressurized PF basket for the Bambino.
With the Bambino, you get the exact same internals and tech, but in a smaller package (and a LOT cheaper obviously).
If I saw an amazing deal on the Pro, I would get that as well (and the new model, Impres is VERY interesting with its auto tamper which MAY be the same tech they have on the Oracle...if so....!!!!)

The funnels won't fit unless you buy a custom one made for the Breville, I was looking for some and it looks like most are plastic attachments where some reviews say it will break after some time.

No problem! There are so many accessories that are tempting to buy. I am new to the espresso scene and I found my self going down the rabbit hole already. Crema's all in one distributor and tamper is another helpful accessory to have to ensure your distribution and tamping is consistent when dialing in your shot. Pretty fun hobby I tell ya!

Which grinder did you get?
I think a dose cup might be better if you want zero spillage. This youtuber shows how it's used.

Breville Smart Grinder Pro. To clarify, by 'settled on' I meant 'decided to buy on next sale'. I have yet to be successful with that.
