    Seriously, barely adequate for espresso. But also seriously, you don't need better than adequate to make some decently good espresso.

    It works great, and you can customize the grind. I’ve had mine for a year.

    It's OK, and is adjustable for grind size and volume. Once dialed in makes pretty consistent shots. Invest in a good leveler and tamper for some really good pulls.

    My friends find that an espresso shot with this machine with milk steamed to a near boil and sweetened is very similar to a cup of coffee from Bangalore. They grew up there, not me.

    I returned Nespresso Citiz to costco today. With no learning curve, nespresso is easy to get going and coffee tasted great.I hated the waste created by pods, so got reusable pod from amazon. Effectively it became similar to these manual espresso machines, I would rather have the real espresso machine.

    i think the 870xl model used to be $500 and if you are lucky combine with 20% coupon from bbb for $399 or $449
    so since covid19, retail price uped at least $100?

    If you buy this machine, just use it and it'll be great. DO NOT attempt to play with the recipes, such as 18g coffee to 36g espresso , because you'll soon find it limitation and start to spend more and end up replacing it.
