If it helps, I bought the RH dreadnought version and it is excellent The market for basic $200-$300 acoustic guitars is highly competitive and this Fender offering is up there quality wise. Fit and finish is excellent, plays smoothly, and sounds great. No fret buzz even with a more aggressive attack. Hard to find fault with it. $99 is really a no-brainer.

Thank you to you both, I did end up snagging the CD model. I've had this alert up for probably two years with no luck and honestly this winter will probably be the first one I'll have enough time to even pick it up to learn anyway. Cheers!

I recommend everyone upgrading the bridge pins and saddle with bone and put some good quality strings on there. Something like the elixr nano web or polyweb strings on there. Although nanoweb is brighter and polyweb is warmer. Bright means more treble and highs and warm means more mids and bass
