These were Buy 3, get 3 free on Black Friday. Well, on Black Friday they were $25 each, so $75 for 6 candles. This sale, not black friday, and it's $60 for 6 candles. Even better, you don't have to buy 6 to get the deal. If you want 1 or 2, you are good.
Retailers keep wondering why the sales are down this year... it's because ALL OF THEM are doing these BS fake black friday sales where they boost the retail prices or have fake discounts that are literally the same as the normal sales price. Even the religious Hobby Lobby does this to deceive their shoppers. I was in there on Black Friday and they had sooo many ad prices on flyers everywhere as major sales, but you'd look at the actual fixed price on the shelf and it was literally the same undiscounted price lmao.
Such a joke.
Furthermore, I went to my local store this morning at 7am, and there were only a few shoppers vs the crazy lines of years past.
I'm not sure what the reason is, but it's an interesting trend.
It depends on what she likes. Twas the night before Christmas smells great, like someone is baking cookies. The hot cocoa scents are great too. They have 2 this year one regular and one peppermint.
Champagne toast is always great if you don't know what to get. It smells lightly fruity and has been around for years. Strawberry snowflakes is good too.
I find they have less and less "great" scents over the years, but they still have a few that can't be beat. The above ones are the ones I bought this year.
As someone else mentioned, Aldi has candles and have been stepping up their game. They had a clementine/pomegranate that couldn't be rivalled by BBW for $5 this year.
$10 bucks is not bad for this sale, but they need better scents. They have fewer and fewer that are appealing to me and it's getting more difficult to find things to buy. Packaging is getting lame on some of them as well and you would think they would have more variety in candle holders since they sell this product. But sadly no.

I have some Yankee as well and prefer the BBW 3-wicks by a HUUGE margin.
The other store brands are usually trash. I think BBW uses a lot more essential oil or whatever in their candles.
With that being said, some of the scents can get overwhelming if you burn the candle in a small room. I burn mine in my living area which is fairly large and it makes the entire house smell good.
If it were actually pure essential oil the candles would be north of $50 a pop for this size.

Like I said before, if you pay attention to their around the year sales 3 Wick Candles can be had for this price after coupon(if you get on the mailing list) and you don't have to wait in line. The company went from being very customer oriented to acting like a monopoly. I have plenty of three wick candles from other deals so I always gladly sit this one out. I guess 9.95 and being able to use $10 off instore is good for some folks but I'm not waiting an hour in line for that. I would rather keep my sanity.
