Upgradable RAM, one sodimm slot!

TN display though.
YMMV, but with the PayPal/Honey extension for Chrome I was offered a $200 GC for $182.74 and another $99.99 GC for $91.36, so my actual OTD price for this laptop was $274.10.

I couldn't find the exact part number (82RK001HUS) on Lenovo's site, but on the page for the 82RK001BUS [lenovo.com] (maybe the different # is due to the Abyss blue vs Arctic grey color?) it says the display is 15.6" FHD (1920 x 1080), IPS, Anti-Glare, Touch, 45%NTSC, 300 nits, 60Hz, LED Backlight. So maybe the display is better than advertised? I doubt it, but I'll update after I pick mine up tomorrow.

This also has an HDMI 1.4b port and a full-sized SD card slot, both of which I find useful and not always present.

To answer smartdeals question, the spec sheet [lenovo.com] says 8GB is soldered and there's a SO-DIMM slot for another 8GB.

Apologies to thelegaldreamteam if this really is a repost. I searched all over before posting but could have missed something.

Looks like for $45 more, this one gets a slightly more powerful i3 processor and a backlit keyboard over the $255 HP that is also listed on Office Depot.

The ram, screen, storage are the same.

I found it, it's gonna be TN.

Is it better than the $299 deal on this from the other day? Trying to stay around $300 for a basic laptop but I don't even know where to start. 😭

You mean the displays are the exact same or this one possibly has a better TN display?

I was looking at that ASUS too, but didn't place an order soon enough. I think the two are very comparable.

The CPU (i3-1220P) for the ASUS Vivobook 15-Slim-F1502ZA benchmarks a bit better than the Lenovo (i3-1215U), but both are modern 12-gen processors. The other specs are pretty much the same.

I've had a number of Lenovos and like their build quality so I pulled the trigger on this one for my daughter.

P series generates more heat so tends to have more fan noise.

That one wasn't an Acer.

Can you let us know if the USBC port supports power delivery if you end up picking it up? Thanks!
