The trigger on my V11 TD, even with spartan use, started getting stuck just after the warranty expired. The only option Dyson gave me was to buy the complete vacuum head assembly minus the battery for $99. And FYI changing batteries on V11 is not a simple snap off/on thing. It takes about a dozen steps and some not so common screw driver size.
I ended up buying a replacement trigger on Ebay for about $10 since the steps were almost the same as changing the battery.

You can return it anytime it gives you trouble. That's worth the extra $ in my opinion.

Alternatively, if you have a mix of hard floors and carpets, and don't want to spend quite as much for arguably a better vacuum overall anyway, you can snag the Shark Stratos from BB&B today for about $300 as well using BB&B coupons. It's actually more expensive than a new V10 MSRP, but you can actually use all the BB&B coupons on the Shark, taking it down up to 30%. This vacuum took first place in Vacuum Wars best of 2022.
