I decided instead to go with a one where the door opens top to bottom like a regular oven.
It was on Amazon for like 102 and I used my Amex to get 40% off so the end it was like $63.
That one I believe is going to have less heat loss from the door.

This one was $60 just 3 weeks ago with a coupon applied. If you had $10 off coupon it would have been $50. This is also the same version as the $50 Walmart one. The only difference I can see is this one has a turn dial and larger.

That was my initial thought as well, but looking closer I noticed that the buttons/options are different than the one from costco. Costco has a touchpad with a variety of options to press like "popcorn".

I just got the Emeril 360 Dual zone 360 Air Fryer for a lot more. I like it but this model seems to have all the same features. Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the performance of both? I'm paricularly interested in the ability to rotisserie whole chickens... TIA...

Walmart $50 one is a 6 slice capacity. This is a 9 slice capacity.

No. The Costco one is all buttons like a microwave and no dial knobs. I actually prefer the Costco one because the knob stopped working on my previous Air Fryer.
