we have the picasso and these - the picasso win hands-down - they're appreciqbly thick and heavier - and most importantly - stronger magnets. if these were a bit thicker they'd hold together better - but they won't stand up well - good for mosaics on the floor.

When my little one was 3, the Tytan works great for his little fingers whereas Playmags/Jasonwell would pinch his fingers hard when they stack due to the strength. So just watch out for that.
We have 1 set of Tytan (from Sam's Club), 2x Jasonwell, 1x Playmags. At this point we just get Jasonwell/Playmags and skip Tytan because they're too weak.
For those interested, we get these Playmags/Jasonwell sets. I got mines when they have a $10cpn ($50-10), but I believe previous posts suggest they have been cheaper.
