good value for a good product vs a high price for a higher-end product.
Ninja has the power to blend, but their motors last about a year. I use the warranty, pay the $50 scam fee, and get a new base annually. It was working for me bc my first ninja was some dirt cheap target clearance.
If you can afford vitamix and aren't attached to the ninja smoothie jars, I'd go that route for sure.
I really DO like my ninja blender... has been going strong for years now with regular use... so no complaints about the blender itself.
What really frustrates me is the lack of replacement parts. Part of the pitcher lid broke about 6 months of use, but I've had to put up with it since used ebay parts are the only "replacement" options available. As opposed to Vitamix, Ninja focuses exclusively on selling the initial product and essentially forces another blender purchase if anything goes wrong. Seems shady for a higher-
endpriced product such as this.FWIW
