Walmart has the Traeger 780 for $499. I paid $538 after tax, this was the smoker deal I've been waiting for.

Am aware but i'm new to this and don't know how much better traeger is or which features are on what. Just looking for a strangers opinion.

Edit: sorry, original post should've said "or". autocorrect.

This Traeger has a wifi controller, which is nice. The pit boss has a little more cooking space. From what I've seen in person, the pit bosses sometimes feel sturdier than the newer Traegers. I've never owned a traeger and have a smaller pit boss lexington, and pit boss customer service was excellent when I needed their help.

I was able to get in on one earlier this morning from the other traeger thread. Hopefully it was not a pricing error.
