Bought 2 of these years ago and have had them running every night attached to a smart plug (since they remember the power/noise/volume settings). No looping in the audio since it's an analog sound machine and the price is about what I paid on sale 4 years ago. Good deal if you need them!

These generate the sound themselves instead of playing back an audio track. I have a sound app on my phone, but I can tell when it loops when I'm falling asleep.

We are big fans of these. Lots of different fan sound choices. My son uses one and we have one in our room too. They come in handy for traveling too.

My last one started acting up with the sound getting louder and softer. Ever since I've had to use a loud fan because the smaller travel version of the electrofan is too quiet plus I use them with a Marpac dohm. If I get this new one I can ditch the fan which is too cool to use in the winter.

After about 8 years of daily use my Marpac Dohm has started fluctuating in volume and making weird creaks so this seems worth a try. Thanks!

I just use an old phone with Spotify and an old BT speaker. I download white noise tracks,set them to offline, and put it in airplane mode. It's set to turn on at 10p and off at 6a.

These are great, have two. Very nice price. Anybody who asks "Why not use X instead?" hasn't tried one of these or isn't very sensitive to repetitive sounds.
