I am building a new one and got AM5 motherboard. Will this fit AM5? I see only AM4 in the compatibility list.

They aren't the wrong brackets, but their literature is not up-to-date. The brackets work, but you have to put on the bracket onto the actual board bracket standoffs and not the plastic brackets you attach other coolers to.

We got caught up on this too: the unit came with no paper instructions. The manual we downloaded online as well as almost all of the installation video guides use a different style AM4 clip than what was provided. I finally did find a recent video though that does show how to install these new clips and it's actually super easy https://youtu.be/9swpPo-ey0w

Thank you for this tip. Corsair tech support was no help at all and told me the the correct mounting brackets are out of stock with no eta.
