Someone downvoted this? Wow. Great deal, considering the Mid-torque isn't frequently on sale/hack in the first place. Battery, bare tool or otherwise.

I paid the same about 3 years back for the older version with a 2.0ah battery. This is a better deal with the bigger battery and the tool is a little smaller which is a plus too.

I did the hammer-torque combo hack a few weeks ago and paid $175 OTD for bare tool, so returning it today and just jumped on this with `10% military discount...ended up being same price, but with an additional battery and charger (though don't need any more of either).

Welcome to my dilemma. I have ryobi 18, milwaukee 12 and now 18. I wanted to get the milwaukee 18 tools earlier for their outdoor power stuff but I ended up getting a ryobi 40 because they are the only company that made a battery powered auger. best 450 bucks i spent on a tool for digging 40 inch holes for installing deck piers. I'm not worried, they are all good brands and all serve me well
