Most items nailed with this tool would be best if glued also. The pins hold things together until glue dries, but I wouldn't consider the pins structural. So, if you plan to glue and pin nail the pieces in your question, it should work well for you, as the pin holes are almost unnoticeable.

I HIGHLY recommend this tool if you're a Cabinet Installer( like myself ) or cabinet maker… trim carpenter etc . Hands down OUTSTANDING tool.
