The Oontz Ultra is much better from an audio quality perspective. For some reason, the extra 4 watts of power makes a huge difference. I returned this one and got the Ultra, was blown-away at how good, bought another, and they've been going strong since 2018. Not thread crapping, this orange one is a slick at $8, a great stocking stuffer? But if you're not in a hurry and you have a discerning ear, I really do recommend the upgrade when they go one sale. Peace

I bought the standard black one in 2018 for $20 & it was worth the money then, for $9 it's a steal of a stocking stuffer.

For something even 10% better you're likely looking at $30-$35 at a minimum. For anything worth the extra cost you're looking at $75 at the very least.

Thanks Op. perfect for tossing in the backpack for hikes or biking or kayaking. $8 is a deal. Agree the ultra sounds better but for where I take this it sounds good enough.
