I don't mind flying the 737 Max but to say nothing came of it is entirely inaccurate. There was found to be issues with the 737 Max that Boeing knew about in internal memos but chose to ignore those issues. It is entirely wrong to say "barely anything has come of it." A lot came of it. More 737 Max's would have continued to crash had they not fixed the issue.

That was like years ago and barely anything has come of it. Go dry off your wet blanket and don't be so dramatic. You'll be fine.

More likely to get hit by some idiot on the highway on the way to the airport then to be part of some CrAzY DrAmAtiC 737 MaX DrAmA

Any idea on how to view the restrictions? Tried for travel 1/23 - 1/28 and got the error:

Sorry, the promotion code entered cannot be used for one of the following reasons:
Invalid selected dates (sale travel dates: 1/10-3/8) or airport pairing.
Necessary information is missing.
Please check your inputs and try again. Let's get you a deal!

If you pay in credit card points/miles, can you still make use of these sales and promo codes or does it just go by literal miles? Tia

I used to only fly southwest but there's no way in hell I'm getting on a 737 Max of which Southwest is the biggest purchaser. No deal is worth getting on those death traps.

you're serious? but they're not the only purchaser. what if the alternative airline you choose puts you on one - will you refuse to go until they change the plane? i mean you're right - it is a huge jump in risk of death from <0.0000001% to <0.000001%; that's 10x higher odds of dying!
