SO I upgraded from my orbi to get wifi 6 and I want to say this might be the worst router I have ever owned. So just so many issues, please check reddit and other places and they will all say how many hiccups. The latest firmware just randomly stops the wifi for a second and then it comes back on.

This is the best price I have seen. But not by much. If you have whole house Ethernet and you connect these to each other via hard wire, the set up is awesome. If you have a big house with dead spots and get 4 you'll be blown away.

Thanks. I was looking at this over the weekend and this morning and they hadn't lowered the price yet.

Does this work as a router or do you need to get a router and this on top of your router?

I just bought this on Amazon a few days ago for $349.99 and now they refuse to price match the difference. I have to return and repurchase it I guess. Makes no sense why they have to make me go through the hassle.

I moved from Orbi to this too. I did notice the same issue with the latest firmware, but changing the backhaul from only 160mhz to all options has seemed to calm it down.
My big headache with this router is the DHCP failing on every reboot or power outage. I have to disconnect my ONT each time to get it to configure an IP.

Best price ive seen these. Its also giving me 10% back on my amazon store card too. I have 2 of these in a 2020 square foot house. For the most part my only dead spot is my garage, which is why im getting these. The firmware releases can be iffy at times and can be a problem, so i ended up installing merlin-wrt on mine. https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng

I bought one of these setups a few weeks ago and gave up trying to get it working after a number of hours of frustration.
Anyone have a good page describing what they did to get it working for them? Damn thing just keeps losing connection after working for about 10 minutes each time I try. Have reset firmware etc. etc.

tahoerider99, I have the Amazon card, so I always get 5% back, but how do you see that you're getting 10% back on this?

Concur with other folks, really wanted this to work but had no luck. Spent 5+ hours trying different configurations and firmware. Ultimately returned and went back to my old system.
