I believe I missed an earlier deal from Secondipity where these refurbished/renewed Sony WH-1000XM5/B's were listed for $216, but it seems like the deal is back. I tried to find the deal on Ebay (in hopes of a 2 year warranty), but I couldn't find it listed.

They show as $269.99 until you add them to the cart. Once in the cart, the price updates to $215.99 thanks to a $54 discount automatically applied.

This is the cheapest price that I've been able to find, and I've been searching for a few weeks. Even though they're renewed, they're cheap enough to make me pull the trigger.

I got mine from eBay from the same seller for $219 and it's definitely one of the best headphones I ever had. Came with a few scratches and it wasn't perfect. But it is working well. No issues so far. Glad I saved money and brought this.

Not a great deal.

Ignoring the time they did offers for $180-$200. Even their normal ebay deal is better, $220+ 2 year all-state warranty, which they have done for a few weeks already (currently doesnt exist though). Brand new is $270-$290 on sale. I'd wait.

Can you link the brand new XM5 for $270-290? It's been 349 for the past few weeks brand new.

Agreed. You'd be better off waiting for the eBay refurbished deal. On Secondipity's site, you only get a 90-day warranty, and it's through "Consumer Priority Service", whoever that is.

If you're listening at home, I don't recommend these. I've used the XM3 for years and while it's great at what it does, for home listening the HD599 Sennheisers blow it out of the park (it cost me $70).

Oh yeah I have different headsets for different environments. I usually use the xm5 for commuting exclusively. I hardly hear any train sounds

FYI, these were $269.99 brand new today in the wootoff (but only 90-day woot warranty) and 6thave had them for $289 on eBay brand new within the last week or so.
