Its an IPS Display; ~300 NITS from various reviews.
The ebay store is notorious for selling dented, scratched units with mediocre battery. Do not expect pristine condition refurbished units as you would usually get in from manufacturers.
I bought Acer Nitro 5 from them, and the battery turned out to be faulty. It was a little over the return window, they wouldn't honor it. Not to mention the unit was noticeably used and scratched

The SSD can be upgraded. Only the RAM is soldered on. For $425 with tax, I think it's a good deal.

Here is the link for ebay's policies on refurbished products, which applies to this purchase. This link is found within the item listing. Just says free shipping and free returns for 30 days, no requirements or limitations beyond the dates.

A deal breaker for me is from a couple of reviews on Costco.com about the fan noise on this Acer. I was given an HP Elitebook laptop for work and the fan used to make high pitch noise so bad that I refused to use it and used my own personal laptop instead, After some windows or firmware update some months later the HP laptop fan rarely comes on any more and I am using it right now.

It's not mentioned in the eBay description, and I didn't see the typical spot on the keyboard where it would read your fingerprint.
