Thx for posting here is old thread if u wanna read up https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/682798
I'm not home at the moment, but if you believe a recent review from someone who probably bought during the October 30th deal, then apparently it's L-N 330v, L-G 400v, N-G 400v.

Here's what the reviewer wrote on November 3rd: "I've attached pictures of the internals for those of you like me who are interested. Clamping voltage is now L-N 330v, L-G 400v, N-G 400v. I saw other specs listed in the reviews so this has been updated/improved. Definitely above average protection for the price."

I can't link to the review directly, so if you want to see the pics he included, here's the listing -- https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasi...B07GPF72BZ

EDIT: I got home and checked mine and can confirm that it's 330, 400, 400 as suspected. Seems pretty solid to me.
Another identical AmazonBasics/Monoprice surge protector. Who makes these before the rebrand?

Home depot has these for $26.62 each and you can order more than 1. I just ordered 4. Weirdly enough it was $26.62 until I signed into my Home Depot acct and it jumped to $35 something. So checked again with an incognito tab and price went back to $26.62 so ordered 4 with paypal checkout.

Also in regards to clamping voltage, on APCs website for the model # P12U2 it lists the following... L-N: 330, L-G: 400, N-G: 400.

Any recommendations for a surge protector that has a clamping voltage in the 300s and costs less than $40?

I have the APC in this post and also this one from Monoprice: https://a.co/d/0J00G4K

Tried them both on a 1500W mining setup. The Monoprice never had an issue and the APC kept tripping itself. Contacted APC and they sent a replacement, but I never trusted that model again with my equipment.

I am definitely not buying this. This makes coil whine according to a reviewer on APC. This is a deal breaker and something I fear in surge protectors.

Isn't it because APC has overload protection? 1500W is a lot for a surge protector.

APC 12-Outlet 4320 model P12U2 clamping voltage is 330, 400, 400. I have a few of these from past purchases and it's also in the product image at Walmart, assuming that APC has not changed clamping voltage since the image was produced and since I bought them.

I have a few of the Amazon version of these around the house. About the only annoying thing about these is the green glow that they emit from the lighting that show "grounded" and "protected". You can't turn it off -- at least on the Amazon variants. I wouldn't use this anywhere you want it to be completely dark. Some people resort to using black tape to cover the lighting.

Another thing to note : the Amazon variety was recently on sale for around $14-$15, so unless you absolutely need this now, need the USB plugs, or don't mind paying a bit more, I'd personally just wait.

I disagree, reached out to their customer service a few times and it was excellent in my experience

I only buy Panamax Surge Protectors which come with a lifetime warranty.

I recently received a replacement for a Supermax 12-outlet surge protector I bought in 1998.
Do these things have a reliable indicator to tell you when they need to be replaced? If they do, I'd probably be willing to jump aboard. Are there any guarantees about their future products indicating they won't screw with the voltages? Also did they actually honor the device protection in case your stuff still gets fried? I know most companies won't.

Do these have EMI/RFI noise filter? It's not mentioned anywhere.

I am not buying if they don't.
You seem to have some pretty strict requirements for what you're after (that's not an insult, btw - too many ppl here just buy because someone told them something was on sale.)

If you don't mind, what is your full list of criteria? I'm always looking to pickup new info from people who are more knowledgeable about technical specs than me.

Oh BTW, I saw you comment about coil whine. As I mentioned before, I recently stocked up on the Amazon Basics variety of this surge protector, and have 4 deployed around the house now. I checked each one with my ear very close to the unit by listening for a whine, then fully unplugging the surge protectors and continuing to listen. I wasn't able to detect any sort of sound.

Panamax M8-AV-PRO Hi-Definition 8 Outlet Surge Protector https://a.co/d/4Gu633T A little pricey? You didn't happen to buy one of those $350. hair dryers on SD a week ago?

That model is a bit dated with the RJ45 protection and dual coax.

I'm baffled by the inability of manufacturers to clearly provide clamping voltage on product pages.

I don't believe I have actually ever needed the surge protection these things offer and I live in a state with the 2nd highest number of lightning strikes.

It's actually not so much about lightning. In those cases, these stuff would be useless anyway. This is more for the peace of mind from modest voltage spikes, the transients from maybe power grid outages and coming back on.

You're right though, the chances are very slim. But hey, you never know one day you might become part of the 1%.
