My kids have only used it once or twice. The chalk seems a bit softer than the stuff we buy at Target or Dollar Tree, so it seems to stick to the pavement better. However that also means it gets used quickly.
I didn't see any clothing stains, but its not like we let them use them in their Sunday's best.
