This one is used very commonly with laptop screws to keep them from coming out especially for hinge area ones.

Would this work on doorknob panel screws… where the panel keeps getting loose?

Doesn't work on a metal/wood interface. The trick with holding screws into wood is stick a toothpick into the hole then screw in, then break off the toothpick. Should hold it in better.

It's an all metal doorknob… on a wooden door. The panel keeps getting loose and we don't even use the door that often it's strange. I guess for $2 I'll pick this stuff up and see if it helps.

Works perfectly for that. Big pet peeve of mine- if you over tighten the screws then the doorknob doesn't open and close smoothly. I'm speaking of interior doors, like the one that goes from my garage to my basement, basic doorknob that gets wobbly over time. Put this stuff on properly, tighten the screws just enough to keep the knob from being wobbly and you are golden.

Those things are so ungodly expensive. This is definitely a good deal even though you don't get much. When it's regular price you are better buying them bigger bottle.
