Well actually I got an email today saying it's delayed and I will be notified when shipped. So I decided to request cancelation. Truth is I just don't need it as my Vizio still sounds great.

I think Hisense offers a high value proposition on their TVs ie. Good bang for the buck. I have a 75" Sony TV I paid 2k for and a 65" Hisense I got for $500 and I think the Hisense is better. Not sure if their soundbars are of the same quality, but it seems like a decent enough price and can always return.

See the BF thread on this deal. People who received the unit and quite happy with the sound & quality. That is one reviewer who didn't like it - maybe having a bad day. Hisense makes well reviewed TVs & Projectors, I'd expect their soundbars would be atleast avergae in quality & performance.

Received mine today. It was honestly fantastic value at $129. I'm not sure what's the deal with Techhive's review, but let's also not pretend that we have heard of them before so it's not like their review is any more credible than a random Walmart/SDer review

That's good feedback, this product just didn't have much reliable reviews. The ones on Walmart is definitely fake, most of them are just copy and paste and it's directly from Hisense website. They sure make great stuff but the fake reviews kinda shady, the price point is good but if the low end is muddy and the mids are weak, I'm not sure if it's worth $50 even. Can you verify if the housing of the subwoofer and speaker isn't thin and cheap feeling. That does play into how it'll sound.

I would say everything seems to be great quality. Mid is a bit lacking but honestly that's what you get for $129. The sub was honestly surprisingly good during movie scenes I tested it with. I get some people might still be disappointed at the sound quality, but to me it's more than enough for a bedroom set. Just don't expect $500 sound bar sound quality and you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Got mines yesterday not bad for 130, after turning up the rear sourround speakers volume it does sound pretty good just lacking a little but in the mids area, the bass isn't that good niether my brother got the Samsung Soundbar Walmart had for 99$ on Black Friday and his has better bass, no big deal gonna take out the black plate and internals and switch it to a 10" subwoofer enclosure and see how it sounds after hopefully it still works.
