Got this offer on my Chase Freedom and Southwest credit cards. Others may not have it with their cards. So YMMV.
Earn 20% back on your Walgreens purchase, with a $20.00 back maximum.
Offer expires 12/19/2022. Offer valid one time only. Payment must be made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on third-party services. Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date.
My Walgreens B&M has plenty of various store giftcards.
Per Chase's customer service rep, these % cashback promotions are offered by merchants/retailers/vendors, not Chase.
Walgreens seems slow, compared to Kohl's, with payout to Chase cardholders. So be patient, SDers'
Update 12/06/22. I bought $100 AMZ giftcard at local Walgreens with one of my Chase card on 11/29 and received $20 cashback on 12/05. Check attachment below.
I still have another Chase card that has the offer. This week (Dec 4 - 10) my Walgreens runs a promotion: purchase of any two Burlington, Delta Airlines, Domino's, H&M, Red Robin or Wayfair Gift Cards, get $10 Walgreens Gift Card for free. Walgreens rewards membership required.

Just stopped by my local Walgreens this afternoon Dec 10 and bought 2 $40 Domino's and 1 $25 Uber giftcards. Received free $10 Walg giftcard and 2 redbox codes for Free Movie Night

I'll do it because I'll eventually spend that much at Walgreens, but I don't want to tie up $300 if I'm only getting one $20 credit. In that case, I'd just do $100.

Someone else confirmed that buying a GC worked for them, but not explicitly with multiple cards owned by the same cardholder. Thanks for posting this deal. I guess I'll give it a try and see what happens. Worst case, I end up with $300 in Amazon GCs with just $20 back. Still, I'll probably spend it anyway.
This thread here is for Chase - Walgreens promotion, a similar offer but for different merchant and won't expire until 12/19.
