- The CPU performs below the level of a below-average mobile i7-12700H (yes H version). Cinebench R23 ~12k pts. A full 12700 is supposed to be ~21K pts. With all adjustable settings maxed via BIOS, Windows power settings, Intel XTU, the most performance I could squeeze out of this CPU was ~18k pts.
- The i7-12700H in my Acer Helios Predator 300 laptop hits ~18k pts stock settings in high fan modes.
- The GPU probably works fine, DDR4 RAM, etc. whatever
- The CPU is highly performance limited because Lenovo limits max temp to 90C (you cannot bypass this as far as I know, nor would I really want to). Lenovo limits the CPU power settings (PL1, PL2, PL1 time) below Intel's specifications, probably to achieve temperature/thermal constraints within the relatively small case.
That said, I do like the look of the case, a simpler and classier 'gamer' design. But just be forewarned you're not getting the full fat i7-12700 experience out of this CPU, at least with stock cooler/software constraints

Thanks!
my mind telling to just buy it, extra pc... but....
Would anyone recommend buying/replacing some parts to make it look better aesthetically? Like RGB fans, better looking tower, etc?
