Ok I really need some expert opinions here, buying a computer for my nephew, almost exclusively used for COD gaming, and I can't decide between this set up or the Best Buy MSI 5600x w/6700XT for $820. After taxes it's about a $240 difference.

https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/776104

He's currently using an i5 8th gen with an RX 560 and finding that his frame rates are too low, so my question is, based on this situation do you think the extra $'s are worth it in future proofing him or should I just save the money and upgrade him again sooner?

Thanks so much for your advice!
They will both be just fine for COD. I got the BB MSI and kind of hesitated on this one. I like the ease of upgrade-ability for the MSI over this one which is mostly proprietary parts, even with the extra $$$. if you are giving it the nephew, give him the Lenovo.

I finally placed to order right before OOS, and got email order confirmation. But not sure if Staple will cancel or not. It's likely price error as the Lenovo listed price is $1449.99 and Doorbuster price at $999.99.

This had to be a pricing error. Worse versions are more expensive on their site.

I purchased this same model at costco for 899.99 as a gift for the pops. If staples comes through and actually ships that is going back to costco. This is a killer deal!
