Thanks OP. Ordered 2. I have 5 of these, and... Audio is crap. Real weakness... And secondly, they need to be manually restarted weekly. They die off and disconnect from the network at random intervals (about a week) and need a manual restart. Really inconvenient when using to monitor a far away property. you almalost want to connect them to a smart switch as a last resort.

I agree this is annoying. I found that the ones that do this occur because of a weak wifi signal. Ones with stronger wifi never need manually restarted. I have over 20 cameras and am well versed in the ways of Wyze..haha.

I'm surprised they haven't fixed this via firmware. (E.g. detect being disconnected for > 30 minutes and do a hard reset automatically)

Well they survived two hurricanes here in Florida and they also survive temperatures in Gatlinburg Tennessee that fall below zero with heavy snow sometimes. So yeah they're good

I've had 3 for awhile now and they have rarely needed to restart, mine work as advertised.
